After you log a water test, the app combines your sanitizer level, pH, alkalinity, and other readings into a single 0–100 score. High scores mean your water is balanced and sanitized; low scores tell you what's wrong and what to fix first. It's a guideline based on your test values, not a laboratory certification.
Doses are calculated from your pool volume and the difference between your current and target readings, using standard pool-chemistry formulas. Accuracy depends on your test kit and the volume you entered. Always follow the chemical manufacturer's label, add incrementally, and re-test before adding more.
Yes. Each pool or hot tub has its own sanitizer type, and the score, dosing calculator, and Water Doctor all adapt to chlorine or bromine accordingly.
No, and there isn't one. Your data is stored on your device and synced across your devices through your own private iCloud. Nothing is ever sent to us.
Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, iCloud Drive is enabled (Settings → [your name] → iCloud), and the devices are online. Sync can take a minute or two after a change.
Check that notifications are allowed: Settings → Notifications → SwimReady → Allow Notifications. If Focus mode or Scheduled Summary is on, reminders may be delayed or silenced by iOS.

Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove synced data from iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find SwimReady, and delete its data. We keep no copies — see our Privacy Policy.
